Printemps Decorative Pillow

The Printemps decorative pillow by Jules Pansu is a part of the dramatic apocalypse collection, which is based on the famous medieval tapestry woven between 1373 and 1382. The pattern was taken from one of the six panels forming the Apocalypse Tapestry of Angers, woven at the end of the 14th century by Nicolas Bataille and based on the cartoons of Hennequin of Bruges for the Duke Louis 1st of Anjou.The original can be seen at the Chateau d'Angers.
